About Your Community Council

The Community Council serves the villages and hamlets of Scleddau (Ward), Trecwn, Jordanston and Panteg . The Council consists of 7 members, with two positions vacant. They are elected every 5 years. The last election was held in May 2022.

The Council is the first tier of local government and works closely with the County Council to ensure that the views of the local community are taken into account by the higher authorities.

The Council meets regularly and Members of the public are welcome to attend these meetings and may speak during public participation.

The Clerk is responsible for all administrative duties of the Council and should be the first point of contact for any Council matters.

The Responsible Financial Officer (RFO) manages all financial aspects of the Council including budgets, payments, and annual accounts.
